The situation
Measuring material thickness without touching the material means measuring X-ray attenuation — and turning raw detector data into stable, accurate, usable thickness readings is as much a software, electrical, and integration problem as a physics one. A gauge is only useful when every one of those layers works together as an instrument.
What we did
How it works
For the client we engineered the gauge as a whole. We assessed the equipment needs, chose the hardware, and engineered the electrical and hardware systems that power and protect it. We wired the API integration with the surrounding tooling, and wrote all of the software behind the instrument — from detector data through calibration to the thickness readings the operation actually uses. We installed and commissioned systems to bring the gauge into service.
