Terms of Service
Effective: ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE · Last updated: September 2, 2026Draft — legal review pending
⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE / legal review. These are the sections a lawyer will need, with the facts of how the site and engagements actually work filled in. Nothing here is legal text yet. The page stays
noindexuntil STATUS records legal sign-off.
1. What these terms cover
Use of the willowark.com website, its content (articles, guides, checklists, diagrams), and the forms and tools on it. Engineering engagements are governed by their own written scope and statement of work (SOW), which take precedence. ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: entity name; governing law (New York is the natural default); whether an MSA exists that these terms should reference.
2. Site content
Articles, guides, and diagrams are general engineering information, not advice for any specific plant, product, or business, and no result is guaranteed from following them. Case studies describe real engagements; client names are shown only with the client's clearance and otherwise by industry descriptor. Content is © Willowark; you may quote it with attribution and a link. ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: licence wording for guides and checklists (personal/internal use is the intent).
3. Forms, email, and texts
Submitting a form asks Willowark to contact you about your inquiry. Newsletter and guide signups are double opt-in and can be cancelled in one click. SMS is sent only with the consent box ticked; reply STOP to end it. Message and data rates may apply. ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: SMS programme name and frequency statement.
4. Scheduling, payments, and signatures
Calls are scheduled through Calendly; invoices, when issued online, are paid through Stripe; contracts may be signed through DocuSign. Each of those services has its own terms that apply to your use of it. ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: confirm active providers.
5. Engagements
Every engagement starts with a written scope. Proposals, SOWs, deposits, milestones, retainers, change requests, intellectual-property ownership (the intent stated across the site: the client owns the deliverables), confidentiality, warranties, limitation of liability, and termination are ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE — to be defined in the MSA/SOW templates, not on this page. This section should point to those documents.
6. Acceptable use
No scraping of forms, no abuse of the subscribe or contact endpoints (both are rate-limited and honeypotted), no attempts to access the Company OS. ⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: confirm wording.
7. Disclaimers and liability
⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: standard disclaimers for site content and availability; limitation of liability consistent with the MSA.
8. Changes and contact
⚠️ NEEDS BLAKE: how changes are announced (this page carries an "updated" date). Questions: sales@willowark.com.
