Common questions
What manufacturers ask first.
We're too small for automation projects, aren't we?
No — the projects are sized to the plant. Monitoring a handful of critical machines or automating one inspection point is a modest, contained project, and it's exactly where most of our manufacturing work starts.
Will you disrupt production?
Good engineering doesn't. New systems run read-only and in parallel first, commissioning happens in planned windows, and the plant's schedule drives the project plan.
Do you work with our existing controls integrator?
Regularly — they keep the PLCs and panels, we add the software, vision, data, and cloud engineering their scope doesn't cover. Integrators are customers of ours as often as peers.
Can you work with the equipment we already have?
Almost always. Split-core current sensors, dry contacts, and protocol gateways bring machines from the 1990s onto the same dashboard as new cells, without touching their controls. Replacement only comes up when hardware genuinely cannot be supported.
Who owns the data and the system afterwards?
You do. Data lands in a database you control, source code and configuration are handed over, and the documentation is written so a new hire could keep it running. We are happy to stay on a retainer, but nothing depends on it.
