AI and systems integration for Florida's space, defense, and marine manufacturers
Florida's manufacturing story is bigger than most people assume: the Space Coast launch economy, a large defense electronics sector, and the country's biggest boatbuilding cluster all operate here. Willowark brings automation, machine vision, and AI engineering to Florida manufacturers across that spread.
We work remote-first and travel to Florida facilities for integration, installation, and commissioning. For fast-growing space and hardware companies, we act as an extension of a lean engineering team.
How manufacturing runs here
Florida's industrial base, as we find it.
Florida hosts the Space Coast around Cape Canaveral, where launch providers and satellite manufacturers have built a dense aerospace ecosystem, plus major defense and simulation industries around Orlando and Tampa. The state leads the nation in boatbuilding, and food and beverage processing, medical devices, and aviation MRO round out a large, diverse industrial base.
Test automation, production software, and vision inspection serve Florida's space and defense manufacturers, while our automation and IoT work fits marine builders and food processors scaling output.

Common questions
Asked by teams in Florida.
Do you travel to Florida for on-site work?
Yes. We fly in for commissioning, integration, and installation at Florida facilities and run the engineering remotely between trips. Project plans include the travel schedule up front, so there are no surprises.
Do you work with space and launch suppliers in Florida?
Yes. We build automated test stands, data acquisition and traceability software, and inspection systems suited to flight hardware documentation requirements. That kind of focused engineering fits the pace of Space Coast production programs.
We build boats, and most of our work is manual composite layup. Where does automation realistically fit?
Usually not at the layup table, at least not first. The practical starting points in boatbuilding tend to be upstream and downstream: automated cutting and kitting, vision checks on hardware installation, cure and resin process monitoring, and production tracking that tells you where each hull actually is. Those projects are lower risk than robotic layup and usually pay back faster. We are honest when a process is better left to skilled hands.
